Woodland wanders

I’ve finally been reunited with a camera, after my beloved Fujifilm X30 came to an untimely end, on a very rough boat trip off the Isle of Mull in Scotland. My Dad has given me his old Pentax K-5, which is an upgrade from my Fujifilm X30 and there’s lots more to learn. So, for its first adventure we went for a walk on Headley Heath, not far from Box Hill in Surrey, over the festive break.

Here are some of the first snaps from me and the K-5, very much still learning but I soon found my love of macro photography surfacing once again, especially when I spotted all this incredible lichen and moss.

Here’s to more photography in 2023 as I get to grips with my new toy!
